Disney Tips And Tricks: Save Time, Money And Stress

Everyone loves Disney, whether you're young or old, it is truly a magical place. It can, however, be stressful, expensive and time consuming. There are some little known tips and tricks to help you make the most of your time and money at the happiest place on earth.

See below for some Disney secrets.

Ask For A Button

Whether you're celebrating a special day or just visiting the park for the first time, ask the City Hall cast members for a button to commemorate the day. They will be happy to give you one and it'll make a nice souvenir.

Find Your Favorite Characters Faster

Use the Finding Mickey site to find your favorite characters in the park. This site will help tell you where you can find your favorite characters quicker than walking around trying to find them, which will save you a lot of time.

Touch Snow White's Apple

While waiting in line for Snow White's Scary Adventures, touch the brass apple. You will hear a witch's cackle and loud thunder.

Bring Food And Drinks

You can bring food and drinks into the park, which will save you some money on snack foods inside the park. Decide what are your must-have foods in the park and set aside money for that.

Buy Souvenirs Ahead Of Time

Purchase your souvenirs outside of the park at a Disney store, rather than inside the park. You'll save money, as the prices inside the park are much higher.

Have Purchases Held At Will-Call Or Sent To Your Room

If you do purchase items inside the park, ask a store cast member about having that purchase held at will-call or sent directly to your Disney hotel room. This way you don't have to carry around heavy packages throughout the park.

Ask About The Tender Seat

While riding on the Disneyland Railroad, ask a cast member about riding in the tender seat. The seat is very small and best for little ones. Your child may be able to ride up front with the conductor. This is not a guarantee, but it's worth a try, so ask nicely.

Go To Non-Fast Pass Rides First

Hit rides that do not offer fast passes first, so you don't have to wait in long lines later. Some non-fast pass rides have lines as long as an hour long. Invest in a fast pass when you purchase your park tickets to get through ride lines quicker.

Take The Shuttle

Taking the shuttle from your hotel to Disneyland parks will save you about $17 per day in parking fees.

These tips and tricks will save you time, money and some stress, and will hopefully make your Disney trip a little more magical for your entire family. You might also look into Walt Disney packages that can help you to manage some of these things.
